The E-312 Science Study Laboratory is dedicated to helping students of Human Anatomy and Physiology achieve excellence in the courses SCB-203 and SCB-204. These courses partially fulfill requirements for the new Psychology Major and the pre-clinical requirements for all Allied Health programs: Nursing (RN and LPN), Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Radiology, Paramedic and Emergency Medical Technology.
The resources available in the E-312 Study Hall include tutors that have previosuly completed one or both courses, faculty members, anatomical models, videos and specimens. The Study Hall also has old exams from faculty that volunteer them and offers practice bone exams during the twelve week sessions.
The resources of the Study Hall are also useful to students of General Biology (SCB115, SCB201 and SCB202). Microbiology (SCB-260) and Vertebrate Anatomy and Physiology I and II (SCB208 and SCB209).
The Study Hall is supported by a Federal Perkins (CTEA) grant which supports the Director, the tutors and the Study Hall supplies.
It is open to all students and the only requirement is that you sign in and sign out using the computer in the room and leave your LAGCC ID card to check out any of the items used in the Study Hall. The usage data is used for statistical purposes at the end of the semester.
