With a commitment to interview every eligible graduate of this 8-10 week training program, Cognizant is investing in local New York talent in an effort to fill their open positions! Through Platform, participants will receive short term, intensive trainings to help them gain the skills needed for these in-demand roles. Applicants should have some previous experience or training in technology

This is a no- cost program, and a great opportunity for community college and continuing education students.

Roles available:

Quality Engineering (QE)

The Quality Engineering training prepares students to understand, analyze and troubleshoot business and technical requirements using leading open source tools and methodologies to automate testing and to deliver value on web applications and mobile apps. This is not another programming course; students are exposed from day 1 to Agile and Scrum Methodologies using planning tools and business cases to understand process maturity and software life cycles; gather meaningful requirements, decomposing problems to use case and sequence diagrams, and mind mapping tools to guide your story telling according to team needs.

Application Support Management (ASM)

Application Support Management is a course teaching students how to implement Cognizant's software management and support services for their clients. This Cognizant business line evaluates, improves and manages application without disrupting the client organization's current operations. This course uses students experience, computational thinking skills and ITIL principles to teach them how to work across software, manage business solutions and improve business efficiencies as a consultant and engineer.
