SCO 215 provides the student with experience in performing, analyzing, adapting and instructing activitiesused in the treatment of patients with physical and/or developmental disabilities. Activities are organizedaround the childhood roles of player and learner, and the adult roles of student, worker, homemaker, parent,
recreator, and self-maintainer. Topics including: splinting, toys and play activities, adaptation of equipmentand environment, positioning transfers and treatment modalities. Splinting and orthotics are included
