Introduction
Hello Reader, my name is Bassam El Jurdi. I am so proud of myself that I went back to school after many years. I moved to New York in Oct. of 2008, I completed my GED Program (High School Equivalent) in two months with a grade of B+, and then I had this great opportunity to become a student at LaGuardia Community College. I am looking forward to earning my associate degree in Business Administration,
by fall of 2012.
A Capstone Portfolio seems to me like a professional page that shows others the work that a student has achieved, all attended classes research papers, projects, resume and much more through each semester until graduation. This enables the students to reflect about the skills they have gained, which will allow them to be successful in the career they aspire. Also I created a section for photography and videos. I posted some of the photos and videos that I took recently on my trips.
I believe that a Capstone ePortfolio will help students in the future while some employers will be searching for the right candidate for a certain position in that firm. This happened to me two months ago. I received a call from a translating agency that was able to look up my resume through my Capstone ePortfolio. I wish all my classmates best of luck in what they are planning to achieve as a future career.
Why I selected this qoute, is becuase it reflects the reality of how intelligent man became successful.
The intelligent man is one who has successfully fulfilled many accomplishments, and is yet willing to learn more.
