BTM 103- Principle of Management

Course Description

This course is an analysis of the role of the manager and the functions of management in an enterprise. Consideration is given to the interlocking nature of these functions and the principles which are the basis for the practice of management. Attention is given to the impact of the external environment on the development of the managerial role and on managerial practice.

 

 

 

 

Reflection

This class introduced me to principle of management and familiarized me with the history of management in the United States. I learned and analyzed the five steps of management process POCDS: planning, organizing , controlling,directing and staffing. I also studies different theories, leaderships strategies and  steps of communication process.
