SSE 103 Introduction to Microeconomics

Course description:

This course will study price determination and distribution under alternative market structures as well as government intervention in the market. A comparison of the market economy to alternative systems will also be examined.


 

Course Reflection:

This course expose me to basics concepts of microeconomics and helped me understand the factors that influence decisions of consumers and firms, the cost of doing business and how to analyze profit maximization and  the laws of supply and demand. I also learned how to differentiate between the market structures: pure competition, monopoly, monopolistic competition and oligopoly.
