Salutations!

My name is Danielle J. Charles. I’m currently a student at LaGuardia Community College. My major is Liberal Arts: Deaf Studies. I’m expecting to graduate June 2015. After graduation, I will most likely continue my education to receive a bachelor’s. (It’s now a requirement as of 2012 for a hearing interpreter to have a bachelor’s before becoming a certified interpreter for American Sign Language (ASL)). I plan to look into some programs so I can utilize what I have learned at LaGuardia in the meantime. If I go forward with my bachelor’s, I will look into a prestige college such as Gallaudet University. I have so much I want to do in my life! I want to become an interpreter, dog groomer and veterinarian. I’m very ambitious and determine to go after what is mine! I have a feeling this is my calling.
