What is a syllabus

A syllabus is an outline and summary of topics to be covered in a course with the corresponding dates that the course will meet.

The syllabus will also list the assignments that students need to complete for each class.

It is descriptive.

A syllabus is often either set out by an exam board, or prepared by the professor who supervises or controls the course quality.

It may be provided in paper form or online.

The syllabi (plural of syllabus)  for each semester of FSM 11 will be listed in this section.

Students will need to look for the semester they are enrolled so they can see their syllabus.
