I am a person who likes to collaborate in what is possible. I like to go to the Breast Cancer Walk and support the causes I believe in. For example the Dream Act. I believe everyone should have the opportunity to pursue a degree. Even though the have entered the country illegaly, they have not engaged in crimes or such things. They have been studying high to have a better life in this country and therefore should be allowed to do it. If they came here was because they couldn't achieve their dream in their native countries. Two of the main community service activities I have performed are as follows: 

• Bookshelver at Forest Hills Library: I volunteered at the Library to meet the requirement for High School graduation but I realized that I really loved to go there. As I was putting books and movies in the right order, I felt really useful. I was helping people who come into the library to find what they were looking for easier.

• Helping an old lady clean her garden: My sister and I used to go with my mom to her job and help the lady clean her garden. She is an old person who cannot move around easily, so we help her as much as we can. My mom does not work with her anymore, but we still helping her because we live close. I liked to go because it made me feel that my existence in the world is worthy. It was nice having someone appreciate you for what you do for them even if it is as little as taking the garbage out.
