About Me

Somebody scoffed: "Oh, you'll never do that;
At least no one ever has done it."
But he took off his coat and took off his hat
And the first thing he knew he'd begun it.
With the lift of his chin and a bit of a grin,
Without any doubting or quiddit,
He started to sing as he tackled the thing
That couldn't be done, and he did it. Except from "It Could Be Done" by Edgar Albert Guest.

       The words of Edgar Albert Guest remind me that people never give up achieving  the goals that they have no matter what does the cost and never be impacted by pessimistic words. Nothing should be an obstacle to constructing a successful future. Similarly, I always try to be enthusiastic and optimistic about what I believe in.

       Hi, by the way. My name is Khusen Kuliev. I am a second semester Biology major at Laguardia community college. I have been living in New York for about a year.

       Let me briefly tell you about myself. When I was young, I had crooked teeth and I felt embarrassed to smile. In order to fix my teeth, I got braces and they hurt a lot in the beginning. I wore braces for several years. After long treatment, braces were taken off and , as a result, I got a Hollywood smile as my mom says! During a Follow-up appointment with the dentist, I saw how accurately he was trying his best to help  patients. Meanwhile, patients were satisfied with his work too. These events strengthened my desire to pursue medical field.

        Nowadays, I am looking forwrad to getting all the necessary backgound knowledge about science and using it in my four year and medical school studies. As a freshman, I am trying my best to learn about the college and its system. Specifically, I am researching everything related to the medical field such as internships and scholarships to expend  opportunities in my college career.
