Taken from my previous ePortfolio, I stated that I’d like to “change my major to Math & Science so I can take the dietitian technician program. Studying this program is important to me because it ties in with what I would like to pursue as a career in the future.” I also explained how my passions in life will transition into my career path which was to “become a chef and own, or at least co-own a restaurant as well as a farm in which my crops and livestock are used in the restaurant. I have been interested in the culinary field since I was a young child because I believe the impact that food has on a society and a culture is an important aspect in daily life.”

Although I have not taken the dietitian technicians major in LaGuardia, I did in fact change it to Liberal Arts: Math & Science. Here, I took the relevant courses needed to obtain the Associate's in Science degree and from there I will move onto a senior college and pursue the dietetics major. I believe that LaGuardia has helped me so much in paving the way to my future.

LaGuardia's great atmosphere encourages positive academic goals such as giving opportunities to grow and learn in new ways as well as positive experiences in their given fields. Speaking from personal experience, I'm enjoying my attendance at LaGuardia because I have never been afraid to ask questions and explore the options handed to me. This school has given me great insight into what I would like to do with my life as well as pass on this insight to people around me.
