The Peer Advisor Academy recruits peers in two ways.

1. Students may apply directly for a position by completing the Student Application and having a faculty or professional staff member provide a letter of recommendation.

2. Faculty or Professional staff who are either part of a team or part of Advising Council leadership may request peer assignment to their advisement area by completing and submitting a Peer Advisor Request form. Requests may be combined with sponsorship and recommendation of student applications.

Completed applications, including letters of recommendation, must be received either via email (to crivas@lagcc.cuny.edu), or as hard copy to Peer Advisor Coordinator, Crystal Rivas in M-418B.
