Mabuhay, and welcome to PULSO'S ePortfolio!

We are LaGuardia Community College's first-ever Filipino Club. Established by Mr. Francis Maling in the fall of 2011, PULSO is a fun and cool organization for Filipino (and Filipino-loving non-Filipinos) students and alumni to meet new friends, network, and just chill around on (and yes, even off) campus.

PULSO is short for Philippine Union of LaGuardia Students Organization. Yes, we know it can be a mouthful. This is exactly why we've shortened our club name to PULSO; if you attend any of our Tagalog workshops (taught by our very own Nicole Salcedo), you'll quickly find out that pulso is Filipino for... if you guessed pulse, then you guessed right. *insert cheesy smiley face here* Aside from Nick's classes, we also have Philippine History and Dance workshops. For the 2012 Fall semester we hop to incorporate Art and Music workshops as well.

So what are you waiting for? If you don't see a large group of good-looking kids with goofy smiles and boisterous laughter at the atrium every afternoon, come join us every Wednesday, from 2:15 to 4:30PM, for our club meeting at room E-222.

Hope to see you there. :)
