Hi there! I'm Remy Patrick Lavilla, a current Accounting student of LaGuardia Community College. So far, this is my second semester and I have earned 18 credits with a GPA of 3.9.  

Transitioning to college, I perceived it to be more demanding and momentous than high school, however, I made it a point to find time for  extra-curricular activities. Currently, I am a member of the Phi Teta Kappa Honors Society and the Honors Student Advisory Committee. I devote my time by assisting them in facilitating several scholarship and transfer workshops for students who are planning to graduate or transfer to a four-year college. Furthermore, I also work part-time as a college assistant in the Office of the President 

By 2030, my mission is to devote myself to help the poor and the homeless by providing them jobs in my business; to decrease the poverty and unemployment rate of my country – the Philippines; and to raise the global economy. I believe this will be possible for I have my passport with me - my Education.
