Welcome to Sai Dan (Kelly) Qu’s ePortfolio. Kelly received her B.S in Exercise Science from Brooklyn College in 2007, and has continued her education at LaGuardia Community College, where she is currently enrolled in the Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) program. She is in her last semester of clinical affiliation, and expects to graduate in December 2012. Kelly has also been working part-time as a physical therapist aide in outpatient facilities for the past few years, and has gained even greater experience through her three internships as a PTA student, including one at an inpatient setting.

The PTA program at LaGuardia has enable Kelly to develop the critical thinking, scientific knowledge, and clinical skills she requires to provide the most effective physical therapy for her patients. Her ePortfolio showcases her academic and personal progress toward her career objective as a therapist, by presenting a visual image of all course work she has undertaken in the past two years.

Kelly is an open-minded, athletic, and out-going person who brings compassion to her field of work. She emphasizes patient education, the importance of a positive mindset, and the art of the healing touch. One of her favorite leisure activities is photography, wherein she pursues the ever elusive goal of recording the beauty that resides in all around us.
