Introduction/Welcome

     Dear colleagues, it is my honor to introduce myself to you. My name is Serena Zou, and I graduated from LaGuardia Community College in August 2014. I experienced my elementary school and junior high School life in China, and then continued my high school education in America. I was delighted yet concerned about my choice of major in college. Hence, after a strong mental conflict, I selected the path of Accounting to journey. I believe my selection can be reflected by what David Letterman stated, “There's no business like show business, but there are several businesses like accounting.”  Namely, no businesses will exist without the existence of Accounting. I agree with this viewpoint as accounting is meant to organize the various types of business and help them to survive successfully for a long period of time. I hope to become an accounting professional who promotes the world of business. Since I dare to do more, I insist college will bring a milestone to my lifetime and assist me to gain priceless knowledge.
