Malgorzata Marciniak, PhD

 

In 1990 Malgorzata Marciniak began her martial arts journey in Academic Karate Club “Okinawa Karate-do” in Warsaw, Poland and later she received her black belt rank from Master Funakoshi. When she moved to the United States in 2004 to pursue doctoral degree in mathematics she became interested in a Korean style Yun Wha Ryu and later, after moving in 2009 to Toledo, Ohio, she began Kung Fu practice at the “Temple of the Dragon” and Wu Dan practice at the “Chinese Association of Greater Toledo.” Currently she is a student of Sifu Chao Hai Lan in the Shaolin Temple Overseas Headquarters in Flushing, NY.

Malgorzata Marciniak was leading martial arts class in Toledo between August 2010 and June 2012. During the summer of 2015 she taught martial arts class for the Asian American Coalition for Education at Benjamin A. Cardozo High School in Bayside, NY. Since Januay 2016 she has been leading Tai Chi classes and workshops for LaGuardia Community College students, faculty, and staff.

In 2018 Dr. Marciniak oficially became a 35th generation disciple of the ShaoLin Temple with the name of Shi Heng Le.
