Principles of Marketing

Course Description:

This course explores the vital role of marketing in our economy. The factors of consumer behavior and motivation are covered to provide an understanding of market planning. The system of distribution of goods from producer to consumer is discussed by relating theory to actual case histories.

Reflection: This was one of my favorite classes that I have taken. After taking this course,  I realized Marketing is the field I want to get into. For an assignment, we had to come up with an item and market it. My partner and I came up with a woman's shoe in which the heel is detachable. Our company was named Sevilla Shoe's and the name of the shoe line was Simplicity. I found the project challenging but I liked having to work hard and be able to present a project. Hopefully, it will not be the last time.
