A very special opportunity to meet with leaders of the Hidankyo, a coalition of Hibakusha group whose mission is to address the devastation of nuclear weapons and to appeal to governmental and other groups the importance of peace in the world. Currently, they are on a speaking tour at the UN. Usually they are in meetings but their number one mission is to share their stories since many of them are aging and dying. Since the Fukushima Nuclear Disaster in 2011, Hidankyo has been speaking up on behalf of the victims of radiation in Fukushima.
