Zenon Taverna - On the beautiful day of May 29th, our Event planning class took a trip to our friends in Astoria. We as a group had a great opportunity to work on several events this Spring semester and today's dinner was one big reward for all of us! P.S. Greek food was delicious, we enjoyed our stay at Zenon Taverna and we want to thank them for having us!

The Taste of Sunnyside, held this year on May 20, 2014 was a huge success in a new location right under the elevated 7 train. More than 500 people attended the event - a springtime food festival featuring 30 local Sunnyside restaurants, breweries and food markets. Attendees at the Taste of Sunnyside sampled food and drink from Sunnyside’s diverse restaurants. Given the neighborhood’s diverse food culture, the selections served by
participating businesses were fantastic.
Walter Rogowski farm - The W. Rogowski farm is a secon generation, family operated farm located in the magnificent black-dirt region of Pine Island in the town of Warwick in Orange County Ny. Old-fashioned family values and a progressive attitude gives the farm an atmosphere of warmth and welcome.
NYC & CO held a presentation in their officies at 810, 7th Avenue between 52nd and 53rd street. NYC & Company is New York City's official marketing, tourism and partnership organization. Their mission is to maximize travel & tourism, opportunities, throughout the five boroughs, build economic prosperity and spread the dynamic image of of New York City around the world.
Queens - Taste of the World 2014 was held at Sheraton LaGuardia East hotel in Queens. At least 50 restaurants and other food purveyours provided delectables to close 800 attendees, including some of the most powerful and best-connected Queens residents. The cuisine featured everything from sweet to savory, Asian to Italian, crunchy ro creamy.
Cultural party - At the end of fall semester 2013, our dear club members gathered around to make a nice cultural party before the final week in December. Due to huge diversity that our club has, we came to an idea to get closer by better knowing each other cultures and countries. We all come from different parts of the world so this party was really a great idea by our members. Also, we had food and music from our countries, and the party was really a successful one. Our members are coming from different countries like Trinidad and Tobago, Russia, Hungary, Greece, Brasil, Serbia, Albania, Israel, Mexico, Jamaica, China, Japan, etc.
International Hotel, Motel and Restaurant Show at the Jacob Javits Center, November 2012.
