Introduction

My name is Warren Hollingsworth and I am an Occupational Therapy Assistant student at LaGuardia Community College. I am very grateful to be accepted into this program and so far I enjoy everything I have learned about Occupational Therapy. I believe my resilient nature will help me adjust to the demands of the OTA program so that I will be successful. My creative abilities will help me create effective therapeutic activities to help clients during therapy sessions. I also believe my fun and playful nature will be an important asset once I’m working in the Occupational Therapy field.

My main focus is to complete the OTA program and pass my certification exam. I am very focused on my coursework and I believe I am a good student. I am currently on the Dean’s List at Laguardia Community College.  Although I was born and raised in New York City, my parents are from the West Indies. I look forward to becoming a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant and making my parents proud.

I believe that these are keys to a happy life.

Goals: My goal is to become a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant and secure a position in the field after graduation.
